Always Carry a Book!

My rating for this book changed quite a bit during reading. It went from a 2 to 1 then 2 again until towards the end where the storyline improved enough for it to perhaps deserve a 3.

It was a rollercoaster of boring, mildly interesting, exciting and frustratingly boring. Not in that order though.

I felt no deep emotion at any point in the book. Even when i ended it, though i usually feel a bit sad to finish a series, i didn't feel that with the Study series. It felt as though the 1st book was a stand alone and the other 2 were written by a completely different person.

The characters and story lacked severely in comparison to Poison Study.

However, the ending was interesting and concluded the characters stories well enough.
I was most disappointed with Snyder's writing style, it was badly done and too simplistic for me to feel a connection to her world. I can't say i'll be looking out for new books by Snyder, related to the Study series or not.
